Create a Playlist for Each Video

Why create a playlist for your videos?

To make your channel the attraction to anyone. You must be someone who has a feeling of responsibility, don’t get scared or think about something big, you’re not Spiderman. I’m just talking about a very important method to help guide your audience to the right path. It’s creating a playlist. Let me first explain what it is before we get into more of the why.

What is a playlist?

It is a place where you can add in your videos, but not all the videos because it’s where you can organize your videos in a list format.

So I will give you an example. Think of your smartphone, you might have 50 apps on your phone but you have to search for that app by using the search button or scroll through the apps to find what you are looking for. With a playlist, you might have 200 videos, but your audience is trying to figure out what videos you are making and why they should watch it.

If you look at the screenshot above, you can easily find something that might interest you. So our website “Influence on YouTube”, we help you create your very own YouTube channel from A-Z. But if we had a blog post with all our ideas, you will have to scroll through hundred posts to find what you are looking for. So what we did was, on our homepage, we created separate sections, we created a menu to help guide you to the section you might be interested in:

Providing this option helps people look into the potential of your video. Every playlist has a name and the videos associated with it. If you’re channel is about food, you can create a playlist of bread making, keto diet, making a meal plan, helpful guide, etc.

Once you start creating more videos, it’s harder to go through all your video to find what your audience might want to watch. Eventually, they will find someone else who is better organized than you and they will go through their playlist instead. Creating videos consistently is one thing, people like to expect and anticipate new videos you upload. But those who want to go back to find the information they want, or for those who are new to your channel to see what type of videos you create, or find help sections to discover, you are helping your audience.

That is what is all about. If you go through Forbes website, you can read all the new articles, but what about all the old articles? It’s all about creating these hubs.
